On June 12, 2012, Professor Bloch from Michael George Law School of the University of the Pacific of the United States visited Tahota Chengdu Office as accompanied by associate professor Lungang Wang, Bo Jiang and Yongxi Cai of the law school of Southwest University of Finance and Economics. Professor Bloch is the consultant of the “experience-based legal education in China” project team of the University of the Pacific. The purpose of this visit is to promote exchange and learning between China and America on legal education and further promote experience-based legal education and clinical legal education.

Tahota Becomes a First-class Law Firm Providing Legal Services in Aviation Industry
Since established, Tahota Law Firm has been committed to providing legal services for aviation and the related industries. In 2000, Tahota participated in the entire business negotiation on the introduction of Brazil EMB145 plane by Sichuan Airlines Group with China Construction Bank, involving nearly USD100 million, which was known as the first domestic financing purchase of plane. Later, Tahota successively established cooperation relationship with Air China Limited, Sichuan Province Airport Group Co.,Ltd., SSAMC, Southwest Air Catering Co., Ltd., Lsg Sky Chefs Co., Ltd., SCACA and other companies. In 2009, Tahota signed restructuring agreement on behalf of Sichuan Airlines Group, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Ltd. and People's government of Chengdu (Chengdu Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd.) in Chengdu, successfully restructured United Eagle Airlines into Chengdu Airlines, involving the total amount of RMB7,000 million.
